4 Arrows Ranch produces organically raised, restaurant quality, grassfed Angus and Braunvieh cattle. No antibiotics, hormones, grain or other commercially used cattle care routines are ever employed. Year round forage sequences are planted in order to be able to finish animals to a fattened gourmet state. All beef is highly marbled and dry aged at least 21 days. Sold by the whole, half and quarter, it is cut to specification, wrapped, boxed and quickly frozen for you. Bulk beef can be shipped outside of the Ocala, Florida area through the processor. Prices are based on hanging carcass weights. Average carcass weight is 700 to 800 lbs (no head, legs, skin or major organs). According to the USDA, 65% of that will be take home cuts. Of this, 40% is hamburger, 20% is steaks and 40% is roasts and miscellaneous. You will need a 16 cubic foot freezer to store a whole beef.

Whole: $3.50/lb. Half: $3.75/lb Quarter: $3.95/lb.
Processing costs are paid to the butcher at .45 per lb. + service fee of $30 per whole.
