The Bourbon Red - a medium weight red, bronze and white feathered turkey that was the standard table bird until the industry switched from family farm to factory farm. Considered to be threatened.
The White Holland - is the first commercially raised domestic turkey. White Hollands are the short legged ancestor of the long legged racecar turkeys of today. All white feathered, they grow more slowly than their present day descendants. They remember how to forage and love chasing bugs! A tasty table bird and of critical status.
The Midget White - a small (toms 17 lbs., hens 11 lbs.) version of the White Holland, the Midget White is a perfect size feast for a couple or very small familys. Critical in status, the Midget White depends upon family farms for its continued existence.
