About Us
4 Arrows Ranch is an 810 acre working cattle ranch located in Citra, Florida halfway between Ocala and Gainesville. We adhere to a sustainable agriculture philosophy which means we use no toxic chemicals on our land. We also rotate our own horses and cows in order to minimize pasture parasite load. Our business is selling organically raised, grassfed Angus beef and pastured Berkshire pork to the general public, buying clubs and restaurants. We have been organically raising grassfed livestock since 1997.
Jim and Lee Windham, owners of 4 Arrows Ranch are avid reiners and cowhorse riders. In fact, Lee and her trusty bay gelding, Shootin Taw, are presently in the Reserve Champion slot for the National Reining Horse Association's (NRHA) Novice Horse Non Pro 2 class. Jim, and gorgeous black gelding, Banjos Remedy, recently won Florida's Rookie 1 class.
Jim enjoys raising exotic deer and antelope of which he has about one hundred on the ranch. Lee looks forward to her organic gardens and the small flock of pastured laying hens every evening.
